This Sunday is Youth Sunday, the special annual service that includes our beloved graduating seniors’ statements, and a bridging ritual that will mark their transition to Young Adulthood in the UU faith. The rest of the youth group – plus members of our new Junior Youth group, JUSYG –  will be contributing with readings, musical performances, and more. This service will be tied together with the theme of recognizing the importance of the journey, not just the destination.

We will be sharing our gifts with Community Kitchens, the organization that WUSYG worked with in Connecticut on their service trip. Community Kitchens of Northern Connecticut, Inc provides healthy and nutritious meals to all who come through their doors.  They are committed to improving the quality of life, restoring the dignity of those they serve, and ending food insecurity in their community.
