Leonardo da Vinci, and the Genius of Being True to Yourself

Born in a small village in the mid-1400’s, as the illegitimate child of an orphaned mother, Leonardo da Vinci’s meteoric rise to become the most well-known, respected, and beloved person on earth at the time of his death was utterly improbable. It was not only his renowned genius and talents but also his unwavering trueness to himself – marching to his own drummer and steadfastly pursuing his own passions, even in opposition to social norms, that contributed to his greatest achievements.
