The Well of Belonging: Water Communion (All Ages)

It’s been a hot and dry summer. So many are thirsty! And it has been a long time since we have all been together…and longer still if you consider how the pandemic has limited our gathering. So many are thirsty! In this annual service of ingathering, we will reflect on what gives us hope in dry seasons. Our worship will be a fun one for all ages and includes a story inspired by a Water Communion tale by Layne Hammock. Bring a little water from your summer, whether gathered from a distant location or a thin puddle by the sidewalk or the tap in your kitchen. You may also attend “Open Water Communion hours” on Saturday September 10th from 11am-1pm at the Main Street entrance OR pour your water into the Aberjona River before midnight on Saturday for your water to be included.
