It is the 250th anniversary of the birth of Ludvig van Beethoven. Our choral celebration featuring the Adult, Children’s and Youth choirs, along with guest musicians, is on hold at present, but Music Director John Kramer will present some of Beethoven’s piano sonatas along with thoughts on his music and life. Beethoven overcame deafness and continued to write inspirational and powerful music, including his 9th symphony, which contains the celebrated Ode to Joy theme.
