Everyday is a good day to honor our connection with animals! But many communities celebrate animals in October in honor of Francis of Assisi who made honoring the animals part of his ministry.
This service will celebrate the animals of the world and the animals in our lives. This is an All Ages service and serves as our Religious Education for the morning; there are no RE classes. Live animals – if they are friendly, vaccinated and leashed/contained – are welcome. Line up outside with your critters at 10:15 am at the Main Street Entrance for the Animal Parade.
Email photos of pets best left at home or beloved pets who have died, including their photos, to heather.janules@winchesteruu.org by Friday, Sept 29th at noon.
