Members and friends of the Winchester Unitarian Society support each other in times of grief and in times of joy. We celebrate rites of passages: child dedications, young adult bridgings, weddings and memorial services.
See our Building Use Policy & Form for rentals other than weddings and memorials.
Please contact the church office for more information: office@winchesteruu.org or (781) 729-0949.
The Winchester Unitarian Society facilities are available for weddings. In addition to the neo-gothic arches that cross the ceiling of the Sanctuary, we have three very large stained glass windows which let in a kaleidoscope of light. They are certain to make your wedding a unique and memorable experience. We also have a more intimate Chapel, featuring more neo-gothic arches and a stained glass window depicting the natural world.
The Sanctuary will seat 300, and can be expanded to seat more by lowering the wall to the adjacent hall. The Chapel will seat 60 people. Metcalf Hall will seat 125 for dinner, or more for a cocktail hour.
The Reverend Heather Janules will be happy to speak with you about officiating your ceremony, or finding another officiant.
For more information on renting our facilities for your wedding, read our wedding guide or contact the Congregational Administrator, Richard Dorbin. He can be reached at office@winchesteruu.org or (781) 729-0949.
To help with the planning of a memorial service and reception, the minister, staff and Pastoral Care Associates have compiled this memorial planning guide to assist families making decisions about a memorial service and a reception. Families complete this memorial agreement prior to the service.
