Human memory is a powerful yet malleable experience. In this Memorial Day service, we will draw from David Blight’s “Race and Reunion” to consider the practice of memorializing after war, the role of identities in how memory is collectively constructed and the lessons for us to consider as we approach own time of post-traumatic reconstruction.
