Music Sunday – The Hymns We Sing

There are many different cultural and religious traditions that feed into our hymnals. To name just a few, they include German Lutheran hymns of the reformation, Jewish hymns, Shaker and Quaker hymns of the 19th century, and contemporary hymns both composed by living Unitarian Universalists and borrowed from the popular music tradition. Join us as we explore the varied springs feed into the ocean of our hymnody?
