“There cannot be unity without accountability” has been a recent and common cry. Unitarian Universalists, practicing a covenantal instead of a creedal faith, know a lot about the relationship between unity and accountability. This service will explore the paradox that the promises of community – connection, freedom and acceptance – are only possible because of boundaries. We will also consider the power and the challenge of “holy interruptions.”
