This past Sunday, some RE kids stayed in the service to hear the graduating youth share their WUS journey with everyone. Younger kids spent time together hearing a Spirit Play story on cosmic creation and then made their own solar system bracelets. Then we rejoined the service at the end where the kids gave our bridging seniors flowers as a reminder of the roots that they’ll always have at WUS.
This coming Sunday, we’ll have regular RE classes and then decorate a Memorial Wreath that we’ll bring to the memorial across the street from WUS. In RE, Spirit Play 1 will hear a story “Seed in the Ground” and Spirit Play 2 will hear the story “Who Speaks for Wolf.” Nursery kids will enjoy time with Celia and Ryan. Neighboring Faiths will wrap up their year with an examination of fundamentalism and cults.
Heyo! Y’all were amazing last weekend! Youth Sunday and Prom were both SO fun! This weekend we have a regular meeting from 430-630 pm AND it’s Bring a Friend Sunday! Hopefully you can all bring one or two people who might be interested in joining us next year 🙂
