An invitation from Zareen Araoz
Dear Members of the WUS Community,
On Saturday, April 27th, at 1pm, we will be holding a virtual Memorial Service to honor my dear husband, Alberto Araoz, and to celebrate the very special human being he was during the almost 94 memorable years he spent on this earth.
Farokh and I would like to invite all who would like to join us in honoring Alberto’s memory. We would love you to attend and participate in this Service, by Zoom on the 27th: (https://us02web.zoom.us/j/84887198626?pwd=OFprY3FEVUVOZG0wMVV4d1BOdXZlZz09#success).
We decided to keep the Service virtual so our family and friends, scattered across the globe, and dear friends from our WUS and ZAGBA communities would be able to participate.
We are grateful to Rev. Heather for leading the Service. Alberto’s very special grandson, Ignacio; his goddaughter, Emilita; and some of his old and respected colleagues and friends globally will be sharing fond memories of him, along with visual and musical memories, including one played by John Kramer.
Rev. Heather has been wonderful in helping me plan this special Memorial, as have kind friends like Vicky Coccoluto, Sara Delano, Aspi Engineer, and Daryush Mehta.
We hope you will be able to join us on the 27th, as we honor the beautiful life of my dear husband and Farokh’s doting father for 35 years. We would like to recapture the warmth of Alberto’s gentle kindness and the charm he radiated to all who knew and loved him. Thank you for joining us if you can.
Warmly,
Zareen and Farokh
