This past Sunday, we gathered up front in the sanctuary to talk about the many spring festivals shared by different faith traditions around the world. We discussed the Hindu holiday of Holi, especially, as we had prepared a little Holi celebration of throwing colors after the service. We had loads of fun welcoming springtime and celebrating together the blessing of the turning of the seasons.

Easter Sunday – Egg Hunt and All-Ages Service
This Sunday we’ll be joining together for a special all-ages Easter service. This service will be especially welcoming to and inclusive of kids. There will be no RE classes this Sunday.
We’ll start out the festivities at our 2nd annual Easter Egg Hunt on the front lawn of WUS. The hunt starts at 9:45, and we’ll have breakfast and warm drinks on the Bell Tower Terrace for you to start the day right!
After the egg hunt, kids and friends are invited to parade their Easter finery during our Easter Processional at the beginning of the worship service. They’ll receive flowers to bring into the sanctuary to adorn our chancel table. There’s fun to be had throughout this service. You won’t want to miss it!
Nursery care will still be provided, and parents of kids from infants to pre-K are welcome to drop off their children in the RE wing nursery room from 10:15 on.
WUSYG:
Happy Easter! There will be no WUSYG this week because of the holiday. We will be back April 7!
