In the parlor starting at 12pm, after the coffee hour hubbub has died down: Deepen your connections with your fellow congregants after church with a discussion of On Repentance and Repair: Making Amends in an Unapologetic World, led by Lee Barton. Lee says, “People hurt one another. We all do. We may not mean to, but it happens. The key question is this: if you want to be a good person and you find you have hurt someone, what should you do? This is the subject of Rabbi Danya Ruttenberg’s book.”

Other upcoming books: on March 10, Becoming Nicole: The Transformation of an American Family by Amy Ellis Nutt (the story of an identical male twin who from an early age identifies as a girl and her family’s experiences supporting her); and on April 14 (tentative date) Braiding Sweetgrass: Indigenous Wisdom, Scientific Knowledge, and the Teachings of Plants by Robin Wall Kimmerer (Kimmerer is a trained scientist and a member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation).
