With the winter months and colder weather approaching, the PPTF would like to announce we will no longer be manually monitoring CO2 levels in the Sanctuary and opening the windows accordingly. This is because our new updated heating system has incorporated a “smart” ventilation system providing continuous CO2 level monitoring with vent control units. The vents are opened by degrees, in line with the CO2 levels measured in the exhaust air of the room, bringing in fresh outside air. This happens, however, only when the heat is on. During warm months, when the heat is off, we open windows and run ceiling fans to introduce fresh outside air and circulation. Our mask policy remains the same, not mandated but highly recommended. Going forward, we will continue to monitor the CDC website for current updates to Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) practices for guidance.
