14th Annual UU Advocacy Day

When: Tuesday, April 9, 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM Where: Arlington St. Church, 351 Boylston St., Boston & the State House

Why you should come to UU Advocacy Day

  1. You get to be with over 100 UUs as we celebrate our shared justice work!
  2. Chris Crass will be with us!
  3. You’ll help honor and celebrate two outstanding volunteers!
  4. We get to sing together!
  5. We engage in democracy together and advocate for our legislative priorities – we have much more power when we go to the State House together!
  6. You’ll get to meet UUs from all across the Commonwealth!
  7. It’s a super fun day!
  8. You will join with people in your district to lobby your MA representatives in person, and provided with all the information you might need.

We need two things from you if you’re coming: 1) Please get a ticket ($25 now, increase to $40 after March 29) 2) Please provide a little more info via this form:

Our apologies for the two-step process, but this helps us prepare for you and keeps the ticket fees low.

Keynote Speaker: Chris Crass, UU, published author, activist, father, and anti-racist educator and so much more! We are so excited to have him join us for this event!! http://www.chriscrass.org/

John Kramer, our Music Director, will receive the 2019 Ruth Rowan Award, celebrating John’s original composition, The Immigrant Experience, a cantata in seven movements. His fundraising concerts have raised tens of thousands of dollars for the Beyond Bond and Legal Defense fund.
