| This spring, Communities Responding to Extreme Weather (CREW) is partnering with interfaith leaders to host Climate Change, Extreme Weather, & Vulnerability: An Interfaith Summit on How to Respond to explore the role of faith communities in preparing their congregations andneighbors for climate impacts like floods, extreme heat, and severe storms. We will share information about the types of changes we are already seeingand can expect to see in Massachusetts, talk about the intersection between climate and extreme weather and issues like immigration, racism, and poverty, learn about practical ways congregations can prepare themselves and their communities, and discuss how our spiritual practices can help sustain not only our efforts, but also our souls, hearts, and minds, as we engage in this most critical mission.
