Winchester Unitarian Society

All Ages Worship at 10:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary

From September until mid June, each Sunday we gather from 10:30 until about 11:30 in the congregation’s sanctuary for worship with music, stories, meditations, readings, and reflections. Worship at the Winchester Unitarian Society draws on spiritual wisdom in scripture, literature, poetry, and art from the Sources of Unitarian Universalism:

People of all ages are welcome. Children in preschool through grade six are invited to participate in religious exploration after our services’ Time for All Ages and childcare is available for infants and toddlers throughout the service.

Here are some recent sermons, each speaking to a monthly theme.

From mid-June until the first Sunday after Labor Day, each Sunday we gather at 10:30 for Summer Worship services in the Sanctuary. These services are a bit more informal than the services in Fall, Winter and Spring. Children are welcome to attend and are also invited to enjoy activities in childcare.

Family Worship at 10:00 a.m. in Meyer Chapel

From September 20 until the first Sunday in June, we offer a special Family Worship on Sunday mornings from 10:00-10:20 in the congregation’s chapel, downstairs from the sanctuary.  The service is short, about twenty minutes in length, and contains all the elements of worship - hymns, message, community sharing, prayer and meditation. Its content and structure are designed to meet the needs of families with younger children (10 or younger).

Who's invited?  Everyone, of course!  If you would like to come to church, but can't make the later service, come at 10:00 for this one.  If you are a young family with little ones you would like to introduce to worship, join us.  If you are exploring this faith community, join us.  If you want to fill your cup from the well of community, whatever your age, you are welcome.
